How It All Began

Founded by Katelyn in Spring Grove, Illinois, Serendipity Sips was born from a lifelong love of flavor, creativity, and connection. From childhood days selling produce at farmers markets to late-night recipe experiments in her own kitchen, Katelyn always dreamed of creating something that would bring people together. In 2025, she turned that dream into reality — one handcrafted syrup at a time.

With over 80 flavors in our library — from classic lavender honey to adventurous pineapple jalapeño — there’s always something new to discover.

Looking Ahead

We’re currently registered as a Cottage Food operation in Illinois, which allows us to sell directly to you, our local customers. But this is just the beginning. By early 2026, we’ll be fully licensed for commercial production and launching our mobile bar service — ready to bring custom cocktails and mocktails to weddings, markets, and private celebrations across the region.
